Fun Factory Stronic G

For someone who owns as many dildos as I do (and who continues to collect more), I don’t write a lot of reviews about penetrative toys. Here’s the hot goss: I’m not super into penetrative solo play. A vibe at my clit is enough to get me off, and unless I’ve had a ton of build up, I don’t crave anything internal. And yet I still bought the Fun Factory Stronic G. And I kinda love it.

Similar to Fun Factory’s other pulsators, the Stronic G is able to thrust back and forth due to two powerful magnets inside of it. To turn the toy on, press the button labeled ‘FUN.’ Pressing the minus button up to three times makes the toy pause longer between thrusts. After turning on the toy, pressing the plus button (up to three times) makes the Stronic G thrust faster. On the fourth +, the Stronic G begins patterns (I’m pretty sure there are three). At any point, you can press FUN to turn the toy off and, when turned on again, it will go back to the middle speed.

The Stronic G features an insertable length of almost 6” with a girth of 1.65” at its widest part. It comes in Pink, Grape, and Pool Blue and can be recharged by attaching the charger to magnetic nubs at the bottom of the toy.

From the moment I purchased this toy, I was really excited–but also apprehensive. From the first use, I was into it. My favorite thing about penetrative sexy stuff is the feeling I get right inside my vag, the friction of the back and forth. With dildos and vibes, that friction has to be done manually and, as you are well aware, I am very lazy. The last time I got very into moving a toy back and forth inside of me, my wrist and forearm hurt so much the next day that I couldn’t pick anything up. I can’t not pick things up just because I wanna wank. I even bought the Stronic Eins years back because a toy that thrusts on its own  is so appealing.

That said, I don’t actually care for g-spotting. I like clitoral orgasms and the feelings of fullness and of thrusting, but something hitting a spot repeatedly in my vag doesn’t really do it for me. I bought the Stronic G because it’s a more slender version of a toy I know I like, not for it’s g-spotting abilities. I also bought this toy because a lot of reviewers raved about it and it is a really good toy.

When I use the Stronic G, I do actually use the patterns (unlike other patterned toys). Yes, I know, this toy defies so much about me! But sex doesn’t feel like constant thrusting in exactly the same way, over and over, and I’m using this toy to approximate some of the things I enjoy about partnered sex. I like the patterns that ramp up and down, but I wish I could switch back to the strongest stable setting quickly because that’s definitely where I want to be when my climax hits.

I have not used this toy completely on its own (though I did try it a bit), because I do need clit stim to really get off. With a partner, that’s usually the pubic bone or a bit of groin rubbing against me. The Stronic G doesn’t have either of those things, so I tried it with a few external toys. Even with shittier/lower powered/more buzzy vibes, I do get a solid orgasm. The shape is subtle enough that it’s not uncomfortable to use this toy and I love the friction. Are they the best orgasms I’ve had with toys? Nah. But it’s definitely my favorite internal thing by a long shot. And even at $200, there’s nothing else like it on the market.

I highly recommend this for folks who want to simulate partnered, penetrative sex but on their own. Buy the Stronic G for $154 with code TWIXT at Betty’s Toybox (purple, teal, or pink), or $170 at The Pleasure Chest, Lovehoney, Liberator, SheVibe (purple or teal), Peepshow Toys, or Luvoqa.

This toy is mostly made out of silicone, which can bond with silicone based lube. I recommend a water based lube so you don’t run the risk of ruining the toy.

This toy is submergible, so it can be cleaned with soap & hot water, or a 10% bleach solution rinsed off. Do not boil the Stronic G as this can damage the internal motors.
