LOVENSE
App: Lovense Remote
Lovense Remote requires creation of a username and password when first downloaded. Once an account is created, the home page displays a menu in the top left corner, where the user can: change your profile picture; set themself as available, busy, or invisible; edit their “mood message”;  and access Settings, Privacy, About, Help, and Log Out. On the top right hand side is a link icon to add toys (which requires bluetooth and GPS). Below that icon, there’s a banner that shows if your toy(s) is connected, followed by five buttons: Alarm, Music, Remote, My Patterns, and Sound. At the bottom of the page, you can navigate to change from ‘Close Range’ mode (used for controlling your own vibrator from a close range); Long Distance (to connect with a partner); or Patterns (where you can find user-created patterns). When adding a partner (in Long Distance), you can see who has requested to be your partner, search your partner via username, or create a link that gives control of a set toy for a set number of seconds.  The Lovense Remote app features text, voice, and video-chat features. It will also function in the background if you choose to use other calling/video/texting apps.

Lovense Remote is notably compatible on Mac and Windows computers.1though you’ll need to use a Bluetooth adapter forWIndows Lovense toys are very popular amongst cammers.

Lovense Ambi
Ambi is a unique toy masquerading as a bullet vibrator. In the style of a bullet or lipstick vibe, Ambit also features a handle intended to make it easier to hold. One end of the bullet is rounded for broader stimulation, while the other pinpoints for more precise vibration. Lovense’s website shows a variety of (heternormative) sex positions where Ambi could be used. The button on the handle means Ambi can be controlled without the app.

Lovense Lush 2
Lush 2 is an ‘egg’ style vibe, designed to be worn inside the vagina. The retrieval stem houses its Bluetooth connection and features the on/off switch. Lush is a hugely popular toy amongst cammers, because it was  designed for long distance & public play.

Lovense Osci 2
Rather than vibrating, the Osci 2 has an oscillating pad on one end, intended as a tapping sensation at the g-spot. The S-shaped toy has a button at the bottom to control Osci 2 without the app. Osci is not recommended for anal use, since there’s no flange. Of the alleged g-spotting long distance toys, Osci is the most curved.

Lovense Nora
Nora is a rabbit style vibe with a rotating internal head and vibrating external arm, both of which can be independently controlled via app or buttons on the base. Nora is one of Lovense’s two-way compatible toys, so the vibrations in Nora can be controlled by using the Lovense Max 2 (see below).

Lovense Max 2
Max 2 is a non-representational penis stroker with 360 degree contractions, a vibrator housed within, and an adjustable air vent to allow the user to control the level of suction. The sleeve within the toy is removable, and Lovense sells a separate sleeve more reminiscent of a vulva/vagina. Max 2 can be controlled via your smartphone or someone else’s (using the Lovense Remote app). It can also sync to a Lovense Nora for two way interactions. If you’re into gaming/VR, the game Mirror Life can connect to Max 2.

Lovense Domi 2
Domi 2 is considered a ‘mini-wand’ since it’s smaller than a Magic Wand. It’s cordless, and features a flexible neck. There are two (for some reason gendered???) attachments available separately, both with internal portions.

Lovense Hush
Hush was the first app compatible (or, as Lovense likes to put it ‘teledildonic’) butt plug on the market. It is a tear-drop shaped plug with a slim base, one side of which has a bit of a nub. The neck of the plug features a screw like design, which is allegedly to help hold lube inside you (sure). Hush comes in two sizes, small and medium, though both are the same length. I have heard that the neck of the toy tends to snap easily.

Lovense Edge
Edge is designed to focus on prostate play and features one point of adjustment in the neck so the user can find an angle that hits their bits in their preferred method. There is one internal and one external motor, with the external motor designed to hit the perineum.
Comparable toys: We-Vibe Sync, We-Vibe Chorus, We-Vibe Vector, Lovehoney Desire Prostate Massager
Best price: $99
