WE-VIBE
app: WeConnect
A relatively intuitive app, WeConnect displays a picture to illustrate the vibration pattern(s). When the app is first opened, it asks to pair a toy. Pair a toy by holding down the power button. A menu in the top left corner shows how much charge your toy currently has; ‘Connect to your partner’; Switch Toy; Current Session; Create My Vibe; Settings; and About. At the top middle of the screen is a button to connect to your partner (who also needs to have the app)– when clicked, it generates an link that your partner will need to connect. At the bottom of the screen are three icons:

  •  one describes your connected toy’s specifications (battery’s charge, allowed level of intensity, a button to immediately disconnect the toy, and a sleep time-out button);
  • a play/pause button which will start/stop vibration, swiping up or down will increase/decrease power, swiping left or right will go through various patterns (whose power levels can also be increased or decreased);
  • and a button that shows all available vibration patterns at once, as well as allowing you to create your own pattern by drawing it on the screen.

Many reviewers & toy users lament that the WeConnect app tends to crash or not connect to their toys. The WeConnect app does not allow for screenshotting, which is great for privacy but not great for me to include pictures as examples here in my blog post. Alas. I wrote about using WeConnect more in depth as part of my We-Vibe Nova Review.

We-Vibe Sync
Designed as a ‘partner’ toy, this c-shaped vibe was intended to be worn with one portion inside the vag and one portion on the clit. Motors in each arm can be controlled independently. The Sync features two adjustable points within the ‘neck’ of the toy, intended to make it more suitable for more of a variety of bodies– results may (and do) vary. Since the internal arm is smaller/flatter,  the partner wearing the toy can also be penetrated, and the person doing the penetration may feel the vibration. Think outside the box, and this toy also works great anally+vaginally, anally+on the taint, or in the mouth while giving a BJ. Besides the app, this toy can be controlled with a remote control, or the button on the top.

We-Vibe Chorus
Basically the same as the We-Vibe Sync BUT some reviewers note that it is more powerful. Includes a ‘Touch Sensitive’ remote control which increases vibration when squeezed.

We-Vibe Rave
A super rumbly, asymmetrical vibe designed for internal use. It features a slight curve & bulb, which makes the Rave great for g-spotting. Since there is no flange on this toy, it is not recommended for anal use! The slight edge at the top could, however, be excellent for pinpointed clit stim; or roll it over for broader external stim. Besides the app, this toy can be controlled with buttons that are (poorly placed) near the charging port. This toy does not feature magnetic charging, instead a DC input renders it not fully waterproof.

UPDATE: We-Vibe has come out with Nova 2, an update on the original Nova! All the reviews I’ve read say it’s really good, I’ll update this page if/when I get my hands on it!

The original We-Vibe Nova

We-Vibe Nova – My review of the original Nova
A rabbit style/dual stim vibe. The external arm is long, curved and flexible, with the intent to suit a variety of bodies and clitoral alignments. Each arm has its own motor, which can be independently controlled via the app or via buttons on the base (though more precise control is possible via app). This toy can be used anally as long as the external arm remains outside of the anus– it can be used against the taint, inside the vagina, against a clit, around a cock, etc. Some folks also use the flexible arm internally and the ‘internal’ arm externally.

We-Vibe Melt (My Review)
Currently, the Melt is the only app controlled toy that features “suction”/air pulse tech/ Pleasure Air/whatever you wanna call the thing the Womanizer/Satisfyer/etc. does. While it doesn’t actually suck on a clit/whatever body part you put it on, it pulsates air (instead of a motor that vibrates). Some describe this sensation as similar to cunnilingus, others laud the Melt as “life-changing” (especially those who have had trouble getting off with traditional vibrators). The Melt is small enough that it can fit between partners during penetrative sex, missionary style. Or control it via app, or via buttons on the base.

We-Vibe Moxie
When the Sync was used as a panty vibe, We-Vibe rolled out Moxie. Moxie has a small magnetic plate meant to go outside your panties/underwear to hold this slim external vibrator in place. It can be controlled via remote control (included). This toy was designed for public play, too, if ever we can return to public places again.

We-Vibe Wand – MY REVIEW
Powerful, cordless, waterproof1though bluetooth often doesn’t work through water, this wand style vibe just so happens to feature WeConnect. It’s not as strong as other wands, but the capabilities this toy has are definitely worth it. The Wand comes with two attachments: Flutter (which looks like a funky spiky wheel) and Stroker (which could mimic how a hand holds a cock), so it’s ready to do a lot right out of the box. The toy can be controlled via app, or via the (kind of confusing, tbh) switch on the base.

We-Vibe Bloom
Do you want your vag/PC muscles to be stronger the next time you get to actually fuck your partner in person? Is your partner also your vag’s personal trainer? Perhaps the Bloom is a good choice for you! Bloom comes with three progressive weights (10g, 30g and 45g) that vibrate and can be controlled via app or button on the toy.

We-Vibe Jive
Intended as a wearable toy meant to fill the vag,2not recommended for anal use because the retrieval stem is thinner than the toy itself the Jive can only be controlled via app. Technically, this style of toy is called “love egg”3which I, as an egg lover,, hate and is popular for cammers/public play.

We-Vibe Ditto
Ditto is a vibrating butt plug with a slight bulge towards the front of the body, ideal for prostate play or g-spotting. The base is long and slim, so it can sit comfortably between butt cheeks but not get sucked into the black hole that is the anus. Ditto can be controlled using the app, the included remote control, or a button on the base of the toy.

We-Vibe Vector
Vector is another of We-Vibe’s anal toys– specifically marketed at prostate play. Slimmer than the We-Vibe Ditto, Vector has a base more intended to massage the taint/perineum. Like the Sync and Chorus, there are two adjustment points in the base of the Vector that allow you to adjust the fit to hit in just the ways you like. It features one internal and one external motor. Vector can be controlled using the app, the included remote control, or a button on the base of the toy.

We-Vibe Pivot
Pivot is a silicone cock ring with a built in motor on one side. It is shaped like an oval, features a stretchy ring, and the vibrating component can be worn behind the scrotum for wearer’s pleasure, or atop the shaft for use with a partner in missionary or similar position. Pivot can be controlled using a button on top of the toy or using the app.

We-Vibe Verge
Verge is a silicone cockring oriented towards wearer’s pleasure. It’s shaped like a tear drop, so the vibrating motor ends in more of a pin-point. This point is ideal for stimulating the perineum (behind the scrotum and before the butthole). Or flip it around (on top of the penis) to give pinpoint stimulation to a partner while wearing it.
